Brewery + Tap Room FAQ

Do you serve food?

Per NJ state law, breweries are not allowed to serve food. However, you are welcome to bring your own food. We encourage you to support the many excellent eateries near the brewery. You’re also welcome to order delivery. Food is not welcome, at any time, in the production area.

Do you serve wine or cocktails?

Per NJ state law, breweries are only able to serve beer that was manufactured on location. Patrons are not allowed to bring in outside alcoholic beverages including wine or champagne (except for private events which require a separate permit).

Are dogs allowed?

We do not currently permit pets of any kind in the brewery, nor in Bolero Park, our Beer Garden. Registered and marked service animals are always welcome.

Are children allowed?

With the expanded capacities from the state launching, we are happy to be able to welcome families back to Bolero Park.  For the time being, our indoor seating areas will remain strictly 21+ so please check the weather before bringing the family.  Children will now be allowed in our Bolero Park Beer Garden, but will need to remain at their table with their guardians for everyone’s safety.

Do you fill growlers or sell beer to go?

CoVID-19: Currently we do not offer growler fills, however, we do offer Crowlers on select beers (please refer to our menu for current offerings).

When this all blows over:

We offer a variety of beer available in cans. We also offer select beers in crowlers or growlers based on availability. Not all beers will be available for crowler or growler fills. We do not sell growlers. You are welcome to bring your own growler regardless of branding.

**We only fill clean growlers.**

Growler pricing is based in 32 or 64 ounce growlers. Non-conforming growler sizes will be subject to the 32 or 64 ounce pricing, or may be rejected completely.

Crowlers and growlers are strictly for off-site consumption and may not be opened at our brewery or on the property.

Are we required to take a tour?

CoVID-19: Currently the NJ ABC has lifted the requirement of a mandated tour in order to consume on site.

When this all blows over:

You are welcome to swing by for packaged goods, crowlers, and growlers to-go without taking a tour at any time. However, in order to enjoy draft beer on site, all patrons must complete a tour per NJ state law, once per calendar year. Once you have completed your tour we will log it in our computer so you will not be required to complete another tour during that same calendar year. If you chose to not have your name logged, you will need to complete a tour each visit you choose to have draft beer.

Is there a tour fee? An entrance fee?

CoVID-19: Currently, tours are suspended until further notice.

Tours are free but may be subject to availability. There may on occasion be a slight wait.

There is no cover charge to enter the brewery, beer garden, or tasting room.

Do you open early for game days / stadium events?

CoVID-19: Currently, Bolero Park is operating only during posted business hours.

When this all blows over:

During 1pm NFL games at MetLife Stadium, we open at 9am for package good pickup and sale only. The tasting room otherwise operates regular hours.

Other events in the area may have special tasting room hours as well. Check our social media pages for announcements.

I really want that beer you're releasing tomorrow. Can I swing by and get it today?

No. Then we would be releasing it today.

Do you have a happy hour? NJCB discount?

Per NJ state law, breweries are barred from happy hours or any other type of discounting. This includes discounted beer for NJCB members. However, we do offer 10% off merchandise for NJCB members when they present their membership card at checkout.
